A surprise visit

We didn’t expect to see grandkids this morning, their Aunt Lisa (Dave’s sister) sister is here for two days and we wanted to let her have their attention for her short visit. RaeAnne called and asked if she could bring the boys over to the campground as they wanted to see Grandma. They stayed for about and hour and a half, the boys have really rocketed up in height since we last saw them in the spring. They are still skinny as bean poles though. I had bought them some Cheap (throw away) toys, thinking they play with them in Florida and wouldn’t have to worry about getting them home on the airline. They spent almost the whole time playing with whirly gigs that you launch with a slingshot. They had as much fun retrieving them from the trees as they did launching them, that’s boys for you!

Millie and I stayed in the camp all day, I installed a device called LevelMatePro. It is installed in the RV and Bluetooths wirelessly to my phone. When you pull into a campsite, you bring up the app on your phone and it will tell me how level the trailer is to within ¼ inch. This gives you the opportunity to move the RV within the site if it unlevel before you park and unhook the RV. If the site is seriously unlevel you may still have to use block or ramps.

During primary activation it works perfectly. At our next stop we will be in an unpaved campsite in a state park, so that will be the first real test.

We watched an old Tom Hanks movie (Volunteers) this afternoon, In addition to John Candy the movie also featured Rita Wilson who would someday become Tom Hank’s wife. Millie says they are still married. It was a farcical comedy, cute.
